i dyed my hair about a year agoe and i have tryed to get rid of the dye everysince i have tryed dying it agina to brown it did nothing then i tryed bleaching it to get the color out and dying it after words but that dident work and since my hair is to the middle of my back now half my hair is lighter then the other cuz the black just doesent wanna come out i dont wanna cute my long hair off so besides going to the salon is there anything that i can do my self at home thanks

i see what the problem is. color cant lift color. you cant put a shade on top of black and expect it to be lighter. i suggest you go to a stylist and ask them to strip your hair..remove the color. never buy hair color removing products at any store though...get it done professioanlly.

go to your local hair dresser and ask for your hair to be stripped. DO NOT BUY hair stripper over the counter!! It will totally ruin your hair. Spend alittle extra money and get it done correctly

I did this to my hair so many times.. i bought this bleach thing at shoppers drug i think it was called manic panic bleach hair lightener-- it was a power and i mixed it with i think hydrogen peroide and u just put it in ur hair-- u can use a hair dryer to try to lighten it faster..make sure it does not turn orange though-- if not go to a salon -- they will have to bleach it themselves-- less hassle for u but more money
